Last year, we joined students at Fulbourn Primary School to plant donated trees, experiencing firsthand how caring for the environment can nurture curiosity and teamwork.
At the end of 2025, we had the amazing opportunity to lend a hand at Fulbourn Primary School. Through the inspiring &More programme, Bush & Co helped pupils and teachers to plant trees donated via our sustainable initiatives.
Here’s how a single day of tree planting brought the environment, school and community closer together.
What We Did on the Day
Our team worked alongside pupils and staff to plant saplings around the school’s outdoor spaces. Together, we carefully prepared the soil and placed each tree in its new home, giving them the best start to grow over the coming years.
The children threw themselves into the day with boundless energy. Watching each class imagine the trees growing over time highlighted just how meaningful this occasion could be for future learning and teaching.
Benefits for Students and Staff
The trees we planted at Fulbourn Primary School aren’t just for greenery – they’re a long-term investment in the school’s outdoor learning environment. As the trees grow, they will help shape a beautiful Forest School area, which will eventually provide shade and privacy for students.
